Our fellow operator Phillip, WRWX490 has started collecting handheld radios to be donated to groups and individuals in need. Phillip has identified a demand for handheld radios in the Philippines where he is originally from. It may even serve as the only means of communication for some people in undeveloped areas. If you or someone you know has any working handheld radios that you would like to donate, please contact him via email and he will be glad to arrange for pickup/drop off of donations.
